In many of the stories, Pippi Longstocking climbs onto her horse’s back and rides with a confidence all her own — no saddle, no fuss, just Pippi being Pippi.
This long, padded bench takes inspiration from that very horse. Upholstered in a dotted fabric, it recalls the horse’s distinctive coat. Both ends are softly shaped, and one side features a fringe that hints at the horse’s swishing tail. It’s a practical piece that can serve as a seat in the hallway, a spot to rest bags or books, or a cosy place to sit by a window. For children, it’s also an invitation to climb aboard for a pretend ride.
