In today's society, it is becoming more and more common for children to spend time in front of screens instead of being outdoors in nature. Play is an important part of a child's development, and through play children can explore, learn, and develop their social skills. Take a minute to think back to your own childhood. You probably have more memories of playing football, jumping rope during school break or splashing in puddles than you do of spending hours in front of the TV. Outdoors provides more space for imagination and the chance to create beautiful memories associated with places that may mean a lot to your child in the future.

Bring indoor games outdoors
If imagination runs dry for outdoor activities, a simple tip is to take indoor games outside. Our tents, for example, work great outdoors on the patio, balcony, or in the garden. If you want to take creativity even further, you can even bring our pavilion tent to the beach and roll up the walls, so your child has their own shade spot. Inside the tent, you can also place our floor cushion game, which is designed to fit perfectly in tipi and pavilion tents. Crawl into the shade and play a game of ludo, works just as well indoors as outdoors!
