Swedish waffles

Crispy waffles for hungry childen

Making your own waffles is both fun and super easy! Serve with jam, whipped cream, berries or ice cream. With a little imagination, there are plenty of different toppings to suit every taste. Here's a recipe for classic waffle batter to make together with the kids.

For 8 waffles you will need:

3 1/2 dl of wheat flour

2 tsp baking powder

2 eggs

4 dl of milk

100 g of butter

Bowl

Whisk

Waffle iron

How to make it:

Melt the butter.

Mix the baking powder and flour in a bowl.

Add the eggs and milk and whisk until the batter is smooth.

Pour in the melted butter once it has cooled down and mix well.

Preheat the waffle iron and brush it with some butter before the first batch.

Bake the waffles and serve them with your favorite toppings.
