RECIPE

Swedish chocolate balls

A chocolate ball with your coffee

Use up the last of your coffee and bake some swedish chocolate balls together. In Sweden this is a favorite recipe for many children, and it might also be the first thing they ever bake! Roll the chocolate balls in shredded coconut, pearl sugar or sprinkles and serve with juice, coffee, or tea.

Fika-time!

To make 35 chocolate balls you need:

150 g butter

1 ½ dl sugar

3 tbsp cocoa

1 tsp vanilla sugar

2 tbsp cold coffee

4 dl oats

Pearl sugar, coconut flakes, or your favorite topping

How to make it:

Mix butter and sugar together. You can use your hands, it's more fun!

Stir in cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, coffee, and oats.

Shape the dough into small balls and roll them in your topping.

Store in the fridge so they are chilled and delicious when it's time to eat them.
