All of our products are designed and illustrated at our head office in Sweden. But for production, we use factories from different parts of the world. We have, for example, toys that are produced in China, fantastic fabrics that are woven in India and beautiful furniture that is made in Europe. We always make sure to choose factories that have great knowledge, work with safety and have a sustainability mindset.
We work with a Supplier's Guide to maintain our high-quality products. It is a document that contains all the requirements a factory must meet to be able to deliver to us at Kid's Concept. It can be anything from chemical requirements to human rights conditions for the workers in the factory.
We have chosen to work closely with all our factories and have actually worked with many of them for several years. We also make sure to visit our factories regularly to create a sense of security and mutual respect. And when we're there, we can continue to develop our common interest in quality, function and environmental issues.
To save on unnecessary travel, we have also made sure to have a Quality Control office in China with 3 employees who visit and quality control our factories on site regularly. Our goal is to ensure that our factories comply with the requirements and rules that exist regarding social responsibility, e.g. according to Amfori (BSCI), which is a network for monitoring factory control.
All products must also be tested and approved according to the REACH legislation, which is Europe's common chemicals legislation. We also work with factories that are both Oeko-tex, FSC- and GOTS-certified. So when you buy a product from us, you can feel confident that it has been manufactured, tested and approved in accordance with all European regulations.
